4 Simple Braids to Try Out at Home

No one is a braid expert at first – but there are simple braids you can try out even at home! Admit it, braiding your hair can be quite a real challenge, but with the right techniques, we’re sure you can get it right in no time.

Sometimes, ponytails and other hairstyles can be quite boring and we need something to style our hair with to look good and feel good about ourselves.

1. Side Braid

Whether you decide to put it on your left or right side, a side braid can make every girl look youthful and chic. To start, make sure you have frizz-free strands. If you want to look like royalty like a Bridgerton or Crown cast, why not try this elegant headband braid for a change? First, section your hair down the middle into two equal parts. From the left side, take a handful of hair and separate it into three pieces. With as easy as “left under, right under” steps – you’ll be done in no time. Continue braiding around the hairline and pin it in place.

Another simple braid to try out at home is the rope twist braid, and you can do this in just 2-3 minutes. Just like the mentioned braid styles above, all you need is a brush and elastic. Detangle well and make sure they’re no frizz so you can do this cute rope twist braid. First, create 2 sections of hair together, and tie it into a high ponytail. Twist the 2 sections individually in a clockwise direction until the very end. Make sure to intertwine these twisted sections with each other in an anticlockwise direction, and secure the ends with a hair elastic.
