5 Hair Washing Mistakes You're Making

We all hate bad hair days—when our hair is just frizzy and all over the place! Ugh. Thankfully, we can prevent frizzy hair by merely changing the way we wash our tresses. So today, we've narrowed down the most common mistakes and how you can fix them to score gorgeous locks:
1. Washing your hair every day.
Washing your hair every day strips our scalp of its natural oils, making it dry and prone to dandruff. Instead, try washing your hair every other day. With this, your hair will look a lot smoother and more lustrous! To avoid the oiliness from not washing it every day, turn to dry shampoo to fight bad odour. Bye greasy scalp on no-wash days!
2. Hot shower.
Using hot water when you shower, especially on cold mornings, feels like a total relaxation. But it can also cause significant damage to your hair. Washing your hair with hot water makes your strands brittle and prone to hair fall. Our solution uses cold water instead as a final rinse. If you can't stand the freezing temperature, lukewarm water is a good compromise.
3. Brush hair tangles before you shampoo.
Wet hair is more prone to breakage, which can result in split ends and frizz. Remember, damp hair is equal to weak strands. Our solution, before taking a shower, brush the tangles out first. This practice will make it super easy to smooth out your strands while you wash them.
4. Focus on shampoo-ing your strands instead of your scalp.
A common practice is massaging shampoo on your strands but neglecting the scalp. The scalp is actually where the most bacteria buildup is, so it's essential to scrub it with shampoo to keep it clean gently.
5. Rinse immediately after applying the conditioner.
Another mistake to avoid is to practice rinsing off your conditioner immediately right after applying it, doing this leaves no time for the product to work its magic.
